Welcome to The Darkest Timeline. We're a Marauder's Era AU RP site set in 1980. Darkness is reigning in from all sides as the Dark Lord grows bolder than ever. More witches and wizards are siding with him out of fear, want of power, and even in desperation. The Minister for Magic is in Voldemort’s pocket, undoing centuries old laws that restrict magic in front of muggles and creating new laws with the express purpose of fostering hate. Muggle-borns are required to register themselves and are assigned a magical armband with a prominent, glistening ‘M’ to identify them, and all marriages between muggle-borns and a witch or wizard are now considered null and void. With promises of a new, free world that can only come at a cost of lives, how many will die to protect what they believe in?
